VERI — Privacy Policy

VERI ("the App") is a luxury watch authentication assistant. This policy explains what data we process and why.

1. Data We Collect

• Watch photos — photos you capture or select are sent to our AI analysis service solely to generate an authenticity assessment. They are processed transiently and are not used to identify you.
• Account information — if you choose to sign in (Apple or Google), we receive your name and email address to maintain your account and verification archive.
• Purchase history — processed by Apple through StoreKit to manage your credits and subscriptions. We never see your payment details.

2. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not use your photos to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services to function: AI image analysis (Anthropic Claude API), watch specification databases (TheWatchAPI), and market data (Chrono24 via Apify). Photos and queries are transmitted securely over HTTPS.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your verification archive is stored on your device. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the App. This action is immediate and irreversible.

5. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

6. Subscriptions

Auto-renewable subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew until cancelled in App Store Settings → Subscriptions. Terms of Use: Apple Standard EULA.
